Bill Loconzolo is the Vice President of Data Engineering for product analytics across Intuit. His team is focused on creating and scaling data products that leverage the collective data of 50 million customers to provide them with unique data-driven insights and product experiences that help them simplify the business of life. Prior to his role in Data Engineering, Bill was the VP of Product Development for Intuit's Health Division that was focused on changing the way patients interact with their physicians, providers and health plans through the use of data. He joined Intuit in 2009 with the acquisition of Medfusion, where he served as CTO. Prior to Medfusion, Bill was the CTO at Perfomix Technologies where he led the team responsible for Performix 4, which was awarded TMC’s 2006 Product of the Year. Other experience includes: Senior Architect at Nokia where he designed and implemented Nokia’s Multimedia Messaging Service (a server-side software platform used by many of the world’s largest communications providers); and VP of Engineering at TeleGea, a telecommunications carrier provider that offered an enterprise software platform for process automation and back office integration. Bill earned his bachelor of science in electrical engineering from Northeastern University. He is a frequent speaker at industry events and has published several software architecture papers. Currently he holds a US patent on image processing and has US patents pending in the areas of VoIP services and data mart transformations, and performance management business process reconciliation.
