Andrew Shafer joined Reductive Labs to make Puppet more awesome. He brings with him a background in high performance computing, computational science, embedded Linux development, web frameworks and Agile methods. Andrew has a Bachelor's in Mathematics and a Master's in Scientific Computing, has participated in two venture funded business experiments and has been an Open Source user and advocate since the late 90s. He's now focused primarily on system automation development and process using Puppet.
