Applying for jobs (40 minutes)

  • Presentation: Evaluating job compatibility with ChatGPT; optimizing your resume and cover letter with AI
  • Group discussion: Have you used AI to create or improve your resume/cover letter?
  • Demonstration: Practice evaluating sample job compatibility, writing a cover letter, and updating your resume based on feedback

Networking on LinkedIn (35 minutes)

  • Presentation: Effective networking techniques on LinkedIn; writing 300-character invitation requests; using AI to write engaging comments or posts
  • Group discussion: Your experience with networking on LinkedIn; your confidence level with using AI in your networking
