Hands-on with AWS S3
Published by Pearson
A Practical AWS Simple Storage Service (S3) Deep Dive
Hands-on with AWS S3 is a four-hour intensive course that strictly focuses on AWS Simple Storage Service (S3) design and administration. You gain the required skills to quickly and easily create your own S3 buckets with a focus on how to minimize data storage costs and maximize security and performance.
By correctly building your S3 buckets up front, you can avoid paying excessive storage charges and data transfer charges. You also learn how to properly secure an S3 bucket including encryption, Bucket Policies, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and Bucket ACLs (Access Lists). This course demonstrates the proper configurations and design options in a hands-on manner that you can replicate in your own AWS account following the course.
You also learn advanced S3 concepts, such as Lifecycle rules, Versioning, Transfer Acceleration, Snowball, VPC Endpoints, S3 Access Points, Replication, and S3 Object Tags. This course provides excellent preparation for S3 coverage on the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (SAA-C02), AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate (SOA-C02), and AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional exams.
What you’ll learn and how you can apply it
By the end of the live online course, you’ll understand:
- How to use S3 as an object storage solution.
- Key S3 concepts for certification, including Lifecyle rules, versioning, encryption, and replication.
- How to use S3 securely using Bucket Policies and S3 ACLs
- How to minimize costs associated with S3
And you’ll be able to:
- Create and configure an S3 Bucket and choose the ideal storage class
- Configure Lifecycle rules, versioning, encryption, and replication
- Secure a Bucket using Bucket Policies and S3 ACLs
- Set up VPC Endpoints and Object Tags
This live event is for you because...
