Aren’t all screenplays written for production? Theoretically that’s true because screenplays are blueprints filmmakers follow to make movies. The problem is that all scripts (long and short) start out as literary reads to garner interest and attract funding. The “real” work comes when the project is green-lit and then often, horrible things happen to the script that started it all.
