Synopsis

The Help → About Microsoft Word command opens a splash screen that shows various items of legal information about Word. The only interesting things about this screen are the following:

• The version (and build number) of Word at the top, which is often required when making a technical support request of Microsoft.

• The product code in the middle, also a requested item from Microsoft tech support.
