ada lovelace is widely regarded to be the first computer programmer, and she started long before the computer as we know it was invented.
Ada Lovelace’s name at the time of her birth in 1815 was Ada Gordon. Her father was Lord Byron (George Gordon Byron), a famous poet and politician. Ada’s mother, Annabella Milbanke, ensured that Ada was taught science, logic, and mathematics, which may explain Ada’s love for machines as the industrial revolution unfolded around her.
