My PSP experiences led to the development of the Team Software Process (TSP). The purpose of the TSP was to build an environment where everybody planned and tracked their work and measured and managed the quality of their products. The TSP was also needed to provide a management environment where the engineers are encouraged and rewarded for doing quality work. This would motivate them to use the PSP methods on the job. The experiences of the BrokerNet team of EBS show how effective this approach can be.
