Using Plug-ins and Extensions
Windows Media Player supports plug-ins—software add-ins that enhance existing features or add new ones. With relative ease, you can find a wide selection of supported plug-ins for Windows Media Player from Microsoft and from third parties. You can find a good many plug-ins at Microsoft’s Windows Media Plug-ins site at wmplugins.com.
To work with installed plug-ins, choose Tools, Plug-Ins, and select from the menu. To adjust the configuration of a plug-in, choose Tools, Plug-Ins, Options. Select a category from the list on the left and then select the plug-in whose settings you want to adjust from the list on the right.
