This chapter explained how your organization can manage the content within your SharePoint environment so that it is kept up to date and relevant to your user base.
It also discussed how your organization can utilize power users to lessen the burden on the IT department. Power users can also champion their SharePoint sites’ content and keep users coming back to their sites frequently. It also discussed subsite management and how permissions and navigational elements can be either inherited from the parent or uniquely managed.
The next chapter will discuss how to install WSS 3.0 and the preparation that must be undertaken for that task.
