Creating and Configuring Basic and Web Part Pages
With WSS 3.0 and only a browser, a user can create a powerful set of sites and pages to meet a vast number of needs.
Creating Basic Pages
The simplest kind of page is an ordinary, basic page that contains no Web Parts or other special features. A basic page can be created by performing the following steps:
Click View All Site Content and then click Create on the All Site Content page. Alternatively, click Site Actions and then click Create within any site.
In the Web Pages category, click Basic Page.
