Task 6: Configure Firewall Rules
The next task is to create firewall rules on Forefront TMG that enable external connections to your internal servers. In both Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server and Forefront TMG, such rules are known as publishing rules, and enabling external access to an internal server is known as publishing that server. Although many server publishing rules are preconfigured for Windows EBS services, such as e-mail, you need to add publishing rules for any additional non–Windows EBS services you want to publish. This task will take about one hour to complete.
