Working with Backup Media
If you have a backup device attached to your computer, Backup offers several commands for working with the device media. If you select the Tools | Media command, Backup displays a submenu with the following commands:
Identify: This command displays the name of the device and the name of the media (see Figure 16.10).

Initialize: This command erases the media and prepares it for new data. Backup will ask you to confirm that you want to erase the data.
