Resetting Your PC
Refreshing your PC should solve most problems. If it doesn’t for some reason, or if you don’t have enough room on your hard drive to perform the refresh, then your next option is to completely reset your PC. (Although first consider restoring a system image, if you have one, as described in the next section.) This procedure completely erases your data, reformats your hard drive, and then reinstalls Windows 8, so it’s a fairly drastic step.
