Refreshing Your PC
If the Automatic Repair and System Restore features didn’t solve your problem, the next recovery step to try is Refresh Your PC. This is a new tool that reinstalls a fresh copy of Windows 8 while keeping your data, settings, and Windows 8 apps intact. When you refresh your PC, the computer boots to the RE, gathers up your data, copies it to another part of the hard drive, reinstalls Windows 8, and then restores your data.
