Fixing Security Issues
The two most likely security issues you may see when you start your new computer are that you need to obtain or turn on virus protection and that you have no spyware protection because Windows Defender is turned off. During setup of your computer, you are asked to turn on Windows Update. If you did not turn it on then, it will also show up as a security issue. Your firewall should always be on. It is really rare for anyone to turn off the firewall, either by accident or on purpose. If you are installing a program that requests that you turn off or open the firewall, Windows may warn you and discourage you from doing it.
