That was quite a list: 16 habits that when considered together give the sales profession a really bad name—that give the human race a really bad name. Take a deep breath … let it out. Think back to what we said at the end of Chapter 6: This is not about skill, intelligence, personality, or a deep religious conversion. It is about making some simple behavioral changes in your life.

Before putting you on the road to selecting which habit you might want to give up first for your customers, we’ll give you some time to reflect. Take some time to soak up a little of what we’ve learned about these habits not just from our observations but directly from some of the pros we went to for answers.
