What Do I Mean by Web Publishing, Anyway?
If you are reading this book, I feel I can safely assume that you are interested in building a website. Perhaps you are already familiar with Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), PHP, or the general concepts behind the broad topic of web publishing.
To make sure we’re speaking the same language, I want to define my use of the term web publishing:
“To make HTML available on the Internet for people to view in a web browser.”
