Chapter 8. Select
In this chapter, you’ll learn many methods for selecting objects for editing, including five tools, a host of Select menu commands, and the Layers palette. Once you master these fundamental skills, you’ll be ready to learn how to copy and align objects (next chapter), and from there you can plunge into all the fun stuff— recoloring, transforming, reshaping, applying effects, etc.
