Annual

A publication centered around topics related to design and art that’s issued once per year. Annuals usually feature the work of influential and trendsetting creative professionals.

Blackletter

Fonts that are based on the heavy, angular calligraphic letterforms often seen in manuscripts from the 12th to 17th centuries.

Bleed

To allow areas of a printed piece to be printed slightly beyond the edges of what will be the trimmed size of the sheet of paper (resulting in ink coverage that goes right to the edge of the piece).
