7.0 INTRODUCTION
The previous six chapters outlined the core elements of any IT-based AV system design, including file transfer, streaming, storage, servers, HA methods, software platforms, and networking. This chapter ties these elements together to create world class media workflow systems. Additionally, the foundations of media types, metadata, control methods, nodal management, and asset management are introduced to more fully describe networked media systems.
