We discussed how story is the conduit through which all creative and technical decisions flow. While story, story, story is our mantra, it isn’t the whole story. Not by a long shot. Just as a painter needs an understanding of his brushes and paints, the video shooter needs an understanding of his camera, lens, and accessories. You don’t have to go nuts in the technical arena.
