OK, folks, let me explain why I’ve written another book. I started with The Grip Book. That book, an excellent one I might add, describes the tools of the trade. Along with the tools are the tricks of the trade, then the nomenclature of dollies, cranes, jibs, and arms, basic and advanced mounts, not to mention expendables and gels, color temperatures and sprays. The book ends with a host of terms in a great glossary. The book was put together with the gentle hands of the publisher, Focal Press.
