Harnessing the power of uncertainty
We live in the Age of Disruptive Uncertainty. In Chapter 2, we discussed the two main drivers of this disruptive uncertainty – globalization (we analysed it using the framework of global flows in Chapter 2) and digitization. These drivers have made the macro environment more volatile than ever before. The Covid-19 pandemic has made us realize how interconnected the world has become. The virus spread across the globe with breath-taking speed. The flow of the novel coronavirus mirrored a particular form of global flow, the flow of people across national borders.
