Natural Resources of India

India is endowed with a rich and vast diversity of natural resources. Natural resources are useful raw materials that are acquired from the earth. They occur naturally, which means that human beings cannot make natural resources, and they simply use and modify natural resources in ways that are beneficial to them. This chapter focuses on descriptions of the various facets of natural resources in India. In general, natural resources connote all those things given by nature on, above, and under the surface of the earth.
