This book would not have been possible without the generous input by the photographers, critics, writers, designers, editors, binders, producers, publishers, booksellers, and collectors, with whom I have had the opportunity to interact over the past years. At the same time, it would not be the same without the students in my photobook classes and workshops, who have never failed to challenge my ideas of what a photobook might be or do.
