Mastering is central to the Digital Cinema process, the nexus at which color, formatting, audio, subtitling, versioning, and metadata all converge. Mastering is a technically intensive but creatively nuanced art, the stage at which the source materials—film or digital files—are prepared for Digital Cinema delivery.
