Digital Assets in Your Portfolio
In July 2020, I wrote an article on Seeking Alpha titled “The Anti-Fragile Portfolio,” detailing how permanently low rates and moderate to high inflation will place a premium on scarce assets. While I originally stated that Bitcoin and gold can both fulfill that role, I have since come to the realization that Bitcoin is a much more direct investment for profiting from the end of monetary policy. A motor vehicle and horse and buggy will never drive on the same road. Bitcoin perfects the qualities that made gold attractive in the first place and obsoletes the paper dollar initially created as a receipt for gold.
