Chapter 5 InterAction case study – Drafting a code of ethics in a participatory process for greater ownership
This chapter is a case study of the development of a meaningful code of ethics by an association of NGOs. It is based on my own experience initiating and leading the effort when I was executive director of Foster Parents Plan and a board member of InterAction. I present the story here, because it shows how one person can influence a large association and all its members and provide guidance to others for similar activity.
