- 32-BIT
Operating systems and programs that operate with binary numbers up to a maximum of 32 digits long, giving a maximum of 65,535.
- 64-BIT
Operating systems and programs that operate with binary numbers up to 64 characters long. These allow for addressing much larger numbers than 32-bit systems.
- ACTION CENTER
Indicated by the white flag on the Windows 7 taskbar. This is a feature that aggregates system messages and troubleshooting help.
- ADMINISTRATOR
A user account level that allows any changes to be made to an operating system or programs.
- AGP
Accelerated Graphics Port, a graphics card interface.
