Transport Phenomena Fundamentals, 4th Edition

Preface

The primary purposes of this fourth edition were to:

1. Eliminate, as much as possible, the number of typographical, cut-and-paste, and numerical errors that remained or cropped up during the writing of the second and third editions,

2. Eliminate some old-fashioned/graphical approaches to working problems in favor of solutions that make use of more modern tools,

3. Update some of the material to reflect some more timely topics, and

4. Introduce new problems and at least one or two problems per chapter that require students to do some plotting and custom curve fitting based on their theoretical knowledge.
