Wayne Martin Belger (b. 1964) is a self-taught photographer who unites his skills as an artist and machinist to build handmade, subject-specific pinhole cameras as well as installations based on collected artifacts relating to his subjects. Belger’s cameras, which can take many months to manufacture, act as a personal bridge between the photographer and his subject.
