Daylight robbery

Imagine being able to predict on a Friday afternoon how stock markets are going to perform on a Monday morning. It would be a licence to print money. In fact, it’s a licence that the seriously smart money have been keeping to themselves – until now.

It may seem far-fetched, but it is possible to make money from the stock markets around the time when the clocks go forward or back (called daylight saving in the USA). The reason for this is simple – our reactions to changes in our own body clocks, or, as the medical profession like to put it, the fact that we desynchronise.
