One day, I was sitting in my office at the University of Southern California (USC). Finals were fast approaching, and students were stopping by my office for extra help. As each student entered my office, one after another, my attention was suddenly drawn to the way in which they entered my room! It was precisely their attitude and enthusiasm that unconsciously caused me to answer their questions with genuine interest and fondness, rather than just go through the motions.
