38. What Should I Do if I Don't Want a Blog?
There are many reasons why you might not want a blog. The most common reason that people don't want to have a blog is that it can be somewhat intimidating to have to develop the blog, figure out what content to include, and then attract and build subscribers.
If you don't want a blog, it's okay! You don't have to have one. But remember that it will be more difficult to drive people to your website if you don't have fresh, updated content.
Without a blog, you'll have to focus on developing other online profiles. Use Twitter and take advantage of hashtags if you want to discuss a particular topic. Utilize Facebook's Notes feature to write longer pieces of content in a way that is similar to a blog but doesn't come with expectations for regular updates. Try social bookmarking services to show other people what you're reading and still establish yourself as an industry leader.
