Salary means different things to different people. For some people, salary is the main reason for their going to work every day, while others feel that earning a lot of money is almost a crime. In particular, people who are working with passion tend to feel that salary is not their primary concern—and they are partly right, but they are also partly wrong. Your salary may not be what drives you, but the fact that you enjoy what you do does not have to conflict with getting paid well for doing it.
