In this appendix, we classify the participants into some categories to help orient the reader. We don’t provide descriptions of the companies mentioned as more current information for the reader is only one Internet search away.
Large, Global OEM/Integrators
Full-service automation providers go direct-to-market with their own products and complementary products via partnerships. They offer a full life cycle of services from design to implementation and aftermarket services. Larger providers have a global reach, while some focus on a regional geographic footprint.
