Minority Report
One of the great annual corporate events is the employee performance review. Its specific form differs across human resource departments, but the basic structure is common. Goals are set the preceding year. The employee writes a self-evaluation, and the manager may read it. A reply is tendered in the form of a combination of written and numerical scores. A face-to-face discussion is scheduled, and the appointment is sometimes kept.
