Appendix A. Brickopedia
The LEGO system is made up of thousands of elements. You’ve already seen many of them used and/or described throughout this book. Some are different sizes of the same type of piece (for example 2x3 and 2x4 are two different sizes of standard bricks), whereas others are exactly the same size but have different decorations or patterns printed on them. To catalog every piece in the system would require an entire book. However, at the same time, it’s useful to try to capture a sense of the various sizes, shapes, and configurations of pieces that exist.
