Stock Footage And Music |
Once you’ve shot all your interviews, B-roll, and cutaways, you may find that you still have a number of visual “holes” in your story. That’s to say, you have all the words you need, but not enough images to support it. That’s where stock footage and archival footage come in. This is essentially any footage that wasn’t originally shot for your documentary. It can be anything from relevant still photos from a local newspaper to clips of old movies that tie in to your topic. Here are just some examples commonly featured in docs.
