In 2011 a group of architects working for the Danish practice Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects enrolled on a week-long course arranged by ‘Vugge til Vugge Denmark’, the Danish representative for the EPEA (Environment Protection Encouragement Agency). EPEA was founded in 1987 by Professor Dr Michael Braungart. This institute undertakes scientific research exploring the potentials of circular systems.
