How you say something counts for a lot more than you may imagine. That includes your body movement, use of stage, and your voice. Your communication needs to be congruent—in other words, your delivery needs to match your words. When you are enthusiastic about something, you are better at presenting it.
My recommendation for you is to find your way of being yourself in front of an audience. What does that mean exactly? I like to think of it as “what you see is what you get.” The way you are at the front of the room is the way you are in normal everyday conversation without a formal speaker persona to hide behind.
