26.5. Components of Maturity
The major assessment categories within each maturity model stage shown in Figure 26-1 are based on the concepts discussed in the preceding four sections: Governance, Standardization, Capabilities, and Execution. Each of those sections relates process components that are applicable to the four stages. Each section also contains specific information that can affirm that each component of the four stages is in place. Table 26-2 contains examples of a few questions and desired responses relating to the four stages of the maturity model.
