Delete All Empty Layers
Welcome to the first of several it-does-what-the-name-says-it-does scripts. The File > Scripts > Delete All Empty Layers command launches a script that looks through a multilayered document and deletes any layers that do not contain anything—that is, layers that are are empty. This is very useful for removing clutter from a layer stack.
