Decision making is one of those ongoing activities that you now need to do in a very different way. As a supervisor, your decisions will face closer scrutiny—by your manager, your employees, and anyone who is affected by the choices you make. When you were an individual contributor, your decisions were probably less visible and less influential. Now other people will look closely not only at what you decide, but at how you make your decisions.
