If They Have a Roundish Face, Do This
Most people have more of a round face, and there’s a way we can pose them that slims their face and gives them an overall more flattering look. It’s called “short lighting,” and all you have to do to short light somebody is to shoot into the shadow side of their face (so the lit side of their face is the farthest side from you). Take a look at the shot above. The light is coming from the window on the left side of the frame, so that side of her face is the side that is well-lit.
