Finally, speech day will come. There are some tips that might help you do some final preparation on that day:
P Arrive Early. This concept was discussed earlier in this book, but it was worth repeating. Arrive at the location and check the sound system, the lighting, the ventilation, potential distractions and the need for any equipment or special arrangements crucial to your speech.
P Get Physical. Get in a physical workout that day. Take a walk, run, swim or ride on your bike. It will help calm you down. Many speakers go for long walks prior to their speeches and rehearse the speech mentally by envisioning the audience and themselves as being very successful as they deliver the speech.
