THE FOUR TEAM-SUPPORT ELEMENTS
There are certain elements that must be in place to support the growth and development of teams. As the sponsor of a team, you are one of those necessary elements. However, you alone are not enough. All together, there are four elements:
1. An identified sponsor
2. A clear purpose
3. The means to measure accomplishments
4. The resources and time to work toward the clear purpose
Since you are the first of these four elements, we know that your team has this base covered. Now your job is to ensure that the other three are in place.
