11.4. Using Parameters in Tasks

The previous section showed how to create a parameter for a variable name. This section shows how to assign that parameter to a task role, and how to run the new task.

In the Project Explorer or Project Designer, click the data icon to make it active. Then open a task. This example uses the Volcanoes data set and the List Data task. To open the List Data task, select Describe List Data from the menu bar.
