By now I hope you see how any company, in any industry, can be turned around (i.e., dramatically improved) by implementing a Lean strategy. I’ve learned from experience that companies can grow and increase in value only by delivering more value to their customers over long periods of time than their competitors can. And I want you to see that in order to deliver value to your customers, you must first improve your own value-adding activities by continuously removing the waste that exists in every one of your processes. A Lean strategy, and the Lean tools that come with it, will allow you to “see” the waste that exists and enable you to remove it quickly and efficiently.
